Weight: 3374g. Description: A piece of matrix with attached cerussite crystals. This specimen is by far the best example of reticulated cerussite crystals that I have ever seen from the Adelaide mine. There appears to have been two generations of crystal growth. The first generation is an orange colour from iron staining while the second is unstained and clear to white. This colour difference provides great contrast and really highlights the three dimensionality of the reticulation. These are not your average flat snowflakes but are actually growing off long stems. The main crystal in the middle is about 4cm tall. was
